This picture prominently features a character that's seen in so much of my artwork. I'm speaking, of course, about "Desk-san". God bless him. He's an excellent worker taking every challenge like a champ with no fuss. One day I might actually start paying him. :P

It's been over a year since I drew this and in spite of the span of time, I still think this might be the best Nanako picture I've done. It all just sorta worked out and I really think it's great.

I came to the Persona series with Eternal Punishment and really enjoyed the urban fantasy setting quite a lot. This was before I realized that urban fantasy is a very common setting in anime. That being said, Persona 3 was still the first game in the series I was actively anticipating. It's probably for this reason that 3 is still probably my favorite game in the series. It came out in a time where I still felt I had a lot of time to invest in games so I ate it up and played it pretty much non-stop.
I said all that because, when I say that Elizabeth is my favorite Velvet Room attendant, I want you to know that the reason is probably plain and simple bias. xD

Yai is just one of those characters I like to draw from time to time. I'm not always creative with my subject choice so it's often easier to draw a character I'm familiar with and like rather than think hard about who I "should be" drawing.
