Tokyo Xanadu - Asuka & Kou

I haven't tried animation much before this. Maybe once a long time ago with pixel art but nothing very serious and nothing that I actually completed. So, technically this is my first attempt at it. It's a bit crude, in some ways, but I'm really pleased with it. I'm hopeful I have an opportunity to work on more animations, though I can tell that they'll be very time consuming. This one took a bit of time, despite the simplicity. Maybe next time I'll be able to draw the dude actually moving. xD

I don't know if anyone who follows me has played Tokyo Xanadu. It's not a very popular game but it's made by Falcom, the company that made the Trails of Cold Steel series. Tokyo Xanadu feels like Falcom's attempt at a Persona game. I have no way of knowing if that was their intention but the feeling is there. It's not a game that'll blow you away but it's decent, from what I've played of it. I still need to finish it. Not entirely sure why I decided to draw these characters but I guess it's just my preference for drawing characters that don't get much attention. Anyways, please enjoy.

(On the technical side, I had to upload this in webp format. It's not my favorite format but my website doesn't currently allow for video uploads. Webp was the best option I had since a GIF would've been lower quality and an animated PNG would've been a much higher file size.)
